Who We Are

With a rich and vivid history, The Beaumont Public Library System is comprised of six locations. There are four circulating libraries: Theodore Johns Library, Elmo Willard Library, the R.C. Miller Library, and the Main Downtown Library, along with the Tyrrell Historical Library and Archives and the Maurine Gray Literacy Center. Positioned around the City of Beaumont to maximize usage by the citizens, the library system circulates more than 350,000 items a year including: books, DVDs and Blu-Rays, Books on CDs, and Magazines. Most of the libraries are open Monday through Saturday except for the Main Downtown Library, and the Maurine Gray Literacy Center which are open Monday through Friday. With over 50 staff members, the library prides itself on providing exemplary customer service to all that come to the libraries. Beaumont Public Libraries also offers internet access through public computing stations and wireless access, as well as printing and copying services.
